The 2009 Fall & Winter Hitting Lessons will be directed by newly hired Southern Utah assistant coach Matt Hollod. Hollod provides a vast knowledge to his campers on what it takes to become a quality hitter. Hollod's hands on approach to coaching revolves around developing a knowledgeable hitter who can benefit his team in all aspects of hitting.  MORE

CEDAR CITY, Utah - June 30 - Southern Utah had close to a combined 200 student-athletes named to the Summit League Winter/Spring Academic All-League Team and the Summit League Commissioner's List of Excellence. Both awards required at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and participation in a season of their given sport.  MORE

CEDAR CITY, Utah - June 8 - Southern Utah senior outfielder Ray Wright has been named first-team academic all-district VIII by ESPN the Magazine as voted on by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).  Wright was one of only ten collegiate baseball players in California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii and Utah to be honored with the award.  MORE
