Adam Longmore Hired as Assistant Coach for SUU Volleyball

CEDAR CITY, Utah - Aug. 8 - Southern Utah women's volleyball head coach announced the hiring of Adam Longmore as an assistant coach with the program today.  Longmore, a native of Utah and graduate of Murray High School and Utah State University, returns to the Beehive State after spending the past five years in Fulton, Missouri at William Woods University.

While at WWU, Longmore served as the head coach from 2004-2007, overseeing all aspects of the volleyball program. Prior to leading the program, Longmore served as an assistant coach with the program from 2003-2004. Longmore also earned a Master's degree in athletic administration from William Woods University in 2007.

Longmore has worked with Gold Medal Squared as a volleyball camp instructor since the summer of 2000, working with coaches, high school and club teams in clinics throughout the United States.

Longmore earned a Bachelor's degree from Utah State University, where he coached the USU men's club team from October 2002 - April 2003, helping the team to as high as No. 3 in the nation. Longmore also played on the team as an outside hitter and served as team captain during his second year.

Longmore and his wife, Jenny have one daughter, Odessa, and reside in Cedar City.
