CEDAR CITY, Utah, Jan. 18 - Southern Utah University wide receiver Brady Measom has been named to this year's 40-man College Sports Journal All-Freshman Team.

Measom, a true freshman from South Jordan, Utah (Bingham HS) finished the season ranked seventh in the nation punt return average, at 12.3 yards per return. He also led the Thunderbirds in receptions with 48 for 547 yards. His receptions were second overall in the league while his yards per game (49.7) were sixth and second on the team. Measom also finished the season second among Thunderbirds and ninth in the conference in all-purpose yards, with 763.

Measom was named the Great West Conference's Freshman of the Year and was a finalist for the 2011 Jerry Rice Award, which is given to the nation's top freshman.
