Biography
At Grace Preparatory Academy: Helped Coach Ray Forsett's
Lions to back-to-back TAPPS 4-A state titles in 2011 and 2012, and a No. 2
ranking in Texas from Max Preps in 2012. This past season he was a second-team
all-state selection and a first-team all-district honoree after averaging 11.9
points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.4 blocks and a steal per game. The sharp-shooter
knocked down seven 3-pointers in one game last January and had a career-high of
27 points as a freshman in his first varsity game. Also played two seasons at
Van High School, where he was an all-district selection and Newcomer of the
Year as a freshman. Earned first-team all-district honors a total of three
times and second-team recognition once during his high school career.
