CEDAR CITY, Utah – The Thunderbirds struggled to put a game together as the Northern Colorado Bears left the Centrum Arena with an 89-71 #BigSkyMBB victory.

The game tied at 5-5 to begin the game before the Bears took off on a 12-3 rally, which guided them to a 40-28 halftime lead.
Northern Colorado continued to overpower Southern Utah to tip off and extend through the second half, resulting in an 89-71 Thunderbird loss.

The Thunderbirds are back on the road next weekend as they take on Weber State on Thursday, Feb. 2, and Idaho State on Saturday, Feb. 4. Both games tip off at 7:00 p.m.
