Sorensen To Showcase Skills At NFLPA Bowl Saturday

Brad Sorensen will get one final game opportunity to impress NFL scouts thits afternoon when Southern Utah's senior quarterback suits up for the American Team at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

Sorensen, who left Southern Utah as the school's all-time leading passer, will team with players from across the country under Coach Herm Edwards. The other quarterback for the American Team is Vanderbilt's Jordan Rodger, younger brother of the Packers' Aaron Rodgers.

Two players who lined up with teams Southern Utah faced this year, fullback Isi Sofele from Cal, and linebacker Jordan Campbell from New Mexico HIghlands, will be teammates of Sorensen. BYU linebacker Uona Kaveinga is also on the American squad.

The National squad includes Utah DT David Kruger and Sacramento STate TE Taylor Knowles.

Kickoff is slated for 4:00 p.m. (Mountain) at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.
