SUU’s other point came from Sagiao, who knocked off Ana Carbo 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 5 spot.

“It was a very close match against Montana,” SUU head coach Rose Ketmayura said. “It came down to the last two matches, Charity and Laura. We needed to win both but only won one of those last two. Laura played injured. Cloe had a hard and very close three-set loss. We did win the doubles point for the first time this season though.”
