At SUU, 2011-12: Started all but two games (at Oral Roberts and at Weber State). Led team with 33 3-pointers on a team-high 104 attempts. Averaged 10.8 points per game, third-highest on the team, also dished out 3.1 assists and pulled down 3.1 rebounds per game. Scored a career-high 33 points against Bryant, hitting 13-of-16 shots and 5-of-8 threes, also pulled down three rebounds and had two assists. Led team with 22 points in the first game vs. Troy, also had three assists, two rebounds and a steal. Came off the bench to hit 4-of-7 shots, including 3-of-6 threes, at Weber State where he finished with 11 points and three rebounds in 23 minutes. Scored 11 points with four rebounds, two assists and a steal vs. UC Davis. Hit a big 3-pointer in OT at South Dakota to give team a 4-point lead and the Coyotes never got closer; finished with 14 points, a then-season-high six rebounds, three assists and a steal in 43 turnover-free minutes. Pulled down a career-high nine rebounds, dished out a season-best five assists and scored 12 points vs. NDSU, including a 3-pointer in overtime to stake the team to a 69-66 advantage. Hit just one shot, a 3-pointer, at IUPUI but the basket put the team in the lead for good midway through the second period. Led team with 22 points and a career-high-tying nine rebounds at Western Illinois, also tied his season-high with five assists; hit six consecutive free throws in the game's final minute to seal the win. Had 10 points, five rebounds, five assists and a steal with just one turnover against WIU, hit all six of his FT attempts. Led T-Birds with 18 points and a season-high six assists at Oakland, scored the team's final six points in regulation, including a 3-pointer to tie it at 62-62 and three free throws with 3.9 seconds to play for a 65-65 to to send the game into overtime; played 44 of a possible 45 minutes in the game. Paced team with a season-best seven assists at home vs. Oral Roberts, also scored 15 points, pulled down two rebounds, blocked a shot and had a steal. Hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 82-82 with 1:07 to play in the Summit semis against Oakland; finished with 23 points, a team-high five assists, two steals and three rebounds. Paced team with 14 points and three assists in the Thunderbirds' loss to South Dakota St. in the Summit League semi-finals.

2010-11 Highlights: Appeared in every game. Moved into the starting lineup at UC Davis and scored a career-high 18 points, started at home vs. NDSU and SDSU but came off the bench in each subsequent game. Led team in scoring once and in assists twice. Didn't score but had three rebounds and two assists in 16 turnover-free minutes vs. Oakland in The Summit League tournament. Scored 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting and had a season-high three steals to go along with two assists at Western Illinois. Scored just seven points but played 33 turnover-free minutes, tied his season-high with four assists, had three rebounds and a steal at IUPUI. Tied his career scoring high with 18 points at SDSU where he buried 4-of-5 3-pointers, also dished out a season-best four assists. Pulled down a career-high six rebounds vs. Western Illinois. Started and scored a team and career-high 18 points at UC Davis, also had three assists without committing a turnover. 

2009-10 Highlights: Played in 25 games with eight starts, averaged 2.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. Started the last seven games of the season at point guard. Led team in assists twice. Scored 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting and pulled down three rebounds vs. Oakland. One game after not playing at all against UC Riverside he scored a then-career-best seven points, pulled down a rebound and dished out an assist at Nebraska; hit 2-of-3 shots, all 3-pointers. Played 16 minutes at Oakland, scored six points with three rebounds and three assists.

At Ignatius Park College: Averaged 28 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and three steals per game his senior year at Ignatius Park College, where he helped the Phenix to the Catholic School Championship. Averaged 20.1 points and five assists last season in the Australian Under-18 championship. Was named his school's Sportsman of the Year in 2008 after participating in basketball, track & field, rugby, football, cross country and volleyball. He was Queensland's Mr. Basketball in 2008 and was a member of the Australian Under-19 squad that toured Italy in 2008. Heuir was selected to the Queensland Secondary School team and the Australian All-High School Team. He helped the Australian team to a fourth-place finish at the Pan-Pacific Games by averaging 20.1 points, 2.1 assist and 4.7 rebounds in the tournament. Also competed with the national champion Queensland Under-20 team.
