At SUU, 2007: Earned all-GWFC honorable mention honors last year after hitting all 19 of his extra-point attempts and 7-of-12 field goals, with a long FG of 52 yards vs. Southern Illinois. The 52-yarder equalled the second-longest kick in SUU history. At SUU, 2004: Was a perect 36-of-36 on PATs and hit eight field goals for a team-high 60 points before departing to serve an LDS church mission. At SUU, 2003: Handled all of the Thunderbirds’ kicking duties as a true freshman, led team in scoring with 56 points. Hit 10 field goals and was 26-28 on PATs.
Personal: Prepped at Salt Lake City Highland HS where he played WR and DB in addition to handling the kicking duties. Earned school’s Caputo Award, HHS’s highest athletic award. Was also named all-state after hitting 10 field goals in one season. Lettered in wrestling, soccer, baseball and cross country as well as football. Parents are Jill and Phil. Is undecided upon a major course of study.
