At SUU, 2008: Sat out to rehabilitate off-season surgery. Tallied six tackles, one solo, with two tackles for losses and was in on a sack during the 2009 spring game.

At SUU, 2007: Spent the season as a redshirt.

Personal: Graduate of LaCosta Canyon HS in Carlsbad, Calif., where he earned first-team all-Palomar League recognition as well as the league's defensive Player of the Year honors following his senior season. A first-team all-CIF honoree, he was also an all-North County Times and all-San Diego Union Tribune performer after racking up 75 tackles with eight sacks and an interception his senior year. Helped Coach Darrin Brown's Mavericks to an 8-3 record and a Palomar League title before losing in the CIV Division I semi-finals. Parents are Annie and Dwayne Witzmann. Majoring in business management.
