Prior to SUU: Spent three seasons at Utah, including one as redshirt. At Utah, 2011: Played in 12 games, led the Utes with 22 punt returns for 166 yards, finished the season with a 7.5 yards per return average. Also caught two passes for 13 yards. His long punt return of the season was a 31-yarder in the fourth quarter of the Sun Bowl which set the Utes up on the Georgia Tech 24 yard line and led to the touchdown that sent the game into overtime of the game Utah eventually won. At Utah, 2010: Played in eight games, had two catches for eight yards and a touchdown (vs. Colorado State). Returned three punts for 22 yards, longest punt return was 11 yards against Iowa State. Also returned two kickoffs for 36 yards, with a 24-yard kick return vs. Wyoming. At Utah, 2009: Spent the season as a Redshirt.

Personal: Earned first-team all-state honors as a wide receiver at Pocatello's Highland High School, helping the team to a runner-up finish in the state in 2005. Was named his region's Offensive Player of the Year as a senior when he had 104 receptions to also earn first-team all-region and all-conference recognition. Was also a first-team all-conference basketball player, leading Highland to a state runner-up finish in 2006. Wife is the former Whitney Jackson , Parents are Lisa and Bill McNabb, Bill played football at BYU.
