At SUU, 2011: Appeared in all 11 games on
special teams, also played wide receiver. Had one reception for seven yards,
returned a punt four yards, also tallied five tackles, two solo, and recovered
one fumble playing on special teams.
At SUU, 2010: Sat out much of the year with an injury.
At SUU, 2009: Appeared on special teams, tallied one tackle at San Diego.
At SUU, 2008: Spent the season as a redshirt. Caught three passes for 23 yards and a touchdown in the 2009 spring game.
Personal: Prepped at Alta High School, where he earned first-team all-region and honorable mention all-state recognition following his senior season when he tallied 75 tackles, three interceptions and a pair of sacks for Coach Les Hamilton’s Hawks. Also lettered in wrestling, baseball, track and soccer at AHS. Was a three-time region wrestling champion, best finish at state meet was sixth. Student-body officer and member of Peer Leadership team. Parents are Julie and Tim Carli; sister Kayleen (Rodeo) was a four-year letterwinner and two-time all-conference performer on the SUU softball squad, she also spent one season as an assistant coach for the Thunderbirds. Plans to go into physical therapy.
