Saturday
April 24 will be a busy day for Southern Utah's football staff, which is
hosting a four-man golf scramble as well as holding its annual Red-White
Scrimmage spring game that day. In addition to the scramble and the game, the
SUU Athletic Department will also be hosting Fan Appreciation Day at Eccles
Coliseum that afternoon.
The
day starts with the scramble, which is slated for an 8:00 a.m. start at St.
George Golf Club. The scramble is open to all comers and funds raised at the
event will be used to support SUU football. Cost for the tournament is $125 per
person or $500 per team. Team registration is open until April 20, and the fee
includes green fees, cart rental, a light breakfast and lunch at the course.

Fan
Appreciation Day will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the Eccles Center end of the Coliseum
where Thunderbird supporters are invited to enjoy an all-you-can-eat pancake
feast.
The
day will conclude with the Red-White Scrimmage, which is scheduled to kick off
at 4:30 p.m. The Red-White
Scrimmage is the annual conclusion of spring football for the Thunderbirds.
